Matthew Stumpf is online!

Matthew Stumpf is a PhD. student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he is currently the assistant editor of Works & Days, the university's literary journal. Along with this work, he is the webmaster and editor of Red Flag Poetry a monthly poetry journal bringing wordart back to the mailbox. While at IUP Matthew has been studying American protest literature within the frame of its influence on an uniquely American literary aesthetic. Within this focus he is conducting research on satire and protest literature surrounding the American Civil War. It is his overall hope to follow the trajectory of the revolutionary American ethos from the country's origins up to our contemporary world.
